Gemini Ambulance Service, Inc. was established on January 1, 2001 with four staff members and a vision. That vision was to establish an EMS service that would meet and exceed the needs of our customers as well as provide compassionate and excellent patient care. We have accomplished this through a progressive work environment for our employees and continue to improve our services every day to meet the changing nature of our business.
Today, Gemini Ambulance operates in the San Antonio, Corpus Christi and 911 Emergency Medical Services for the Brooks County area with a combined ambulance fleet of 21 ambulances, multiple wheelchair vans and support vehicles. Our Corpus Christi operation contracts with the Shohn Hospital system while the San Antonio operation has multiple contracts with TexSan Hospital, multiple Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) facilities, and a multiple nursing facilities. We specialize in acute care handling and requires our medical staff to maintain high levels of training to include ACLS, PALS and other advanced training skills.
